My Grandfather was an experienced wood and asphalt siding installer and carpenter in the 1930s–1960s. My father was an experienced steel and aluminum siding installer in the 1950s-1980s. After the new vinyl siding materials were introduced at the World’s Fair, in 1965 my father proudly completed the first vinyl siding installation in the Texas Panhandle. I started working with him as a teenager and have been in the siding industry ever since!

Growing up in a siding family, the trade was proudly (and competitively) shared among family members. The extra special touches and tricks-of-the-trade that we learned took a “standard” installer to a higher level of quality as a skilled craftsman of the trade. Any goal less than excellence proved to be unacceptable. After graduating through the ranks of the business, it was time to start our own.

Founded in Southern California in 1989, Specialty Siding, Windows & Raingutters was built by our family on the principles of hard work, quality materials and exceptional customer service. Our first office was actually located in a small side room of our home. Fortunately, our business grew and we relocated and incorporated in 1993 as MGM Enterprises, Inc., dba “Specialty Siding, Windows & Raingutters.”

Specialty Siding, Windows & Raingutters has earned a reputation known throughout the industry for its craftsmanship and high quality. With having 3 generations of the family in the siding industry, our history provides a valuable resource of experience and knowledge. Although the materials available on the market have significantly changed over the years, the importance of doing a great job the first time still remains the same.
